Local Sex Offender Assaults Minor
Gregory William Largent, 27, of Romney, is currently incarcerated at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail on two counts of 3rd degree sexual assault and one count of use of a minor in the filming of sexually explicit material. His bond is set at $40,000.
Largent was convicted of 3rd degree sexual assault on October 23, 2001, given a suspended sentence and place on five years probation. He apparently didn't learn from his prior mistakes and has reverted back to his old ways.
With any luck, our prosecutor will not even consider offering a plea agreement on the new charges. Largent is a sexual predator that needs a cozy prison cell to call home for a very, very long time.

How dare he take a child's innocent's. There should be nothing cozy for him, ever. This PSYCHO should spend the rest of his life in a concrete cell with a hole, that is all he deserves. How many more changes does he deserve, he is/was a convicted child sex offender in 2001, convicted of animal abuse in 2003, charged with running an illegal kennel (Beaver Kennels, Romney WV) in 2007 and again he is being charged with sexually assualting a child and video taping it. He has strike 4 lock the monster AWAY.

Prison should not be an option. Last time he was in the big house he got "married". You think that with all those swinging dicks Mr. Largent will be too upset about sucking his way through the next 20 years?
And good luck on our prosecutor doing anything. Largent has gotten away with everything except murder in this county. Maybe this kid that was filmed isn't the only one getting blown in this case.
